Just after graduation from Texas A&M University in 1978, we discovered clay and each other at the Craft Center on campus.  From that moment, our fates were sealed: we left our brand new science degrees behind and pursued the art of pottery-making with a beginner’s zeal, relying on experience as our teacher.

Over the years we have found opportunities for further education in workshops, our own work in clay, and the wisdom that friends and fellow potters have shared with us. Our growth as individuals, our environment, and the rich experience working together in clay, is reflected in our current work.

While our pots may have changed and evolved, what has remained constant is our love of function and form, our passion for the process of making pots, and the joy we find in using hand made pottery. This is what drew us to clay in the first place, and it remains at the heart of our work today.
